Condit’s exhibit rental system allows for unique customization of an exhibit on a tight budget or time frame.  DaVita’s space utilized exhibit technology and interactive design elements such as LCD monitors placed at work stations.  These stations enabled and encouraged the educational aspect of the in-house Villagewide Meeting.

During the event more than 3,000 members from DaVita took part in a service project.  The project “…is dedicated to our front line teammates,” said Kent Thiry, chairman and CEO of DaVita HealthCare Partners. “It’s where we pause to review our accomplishments, look to the future as we expand internationally as well as domestically with our HealthCare Partners family, and above all recognize those who truly role model our Mission and Values.”

The NAB Show features over 90,000 media and entertainment professionals from over 150 countries. With 85 years of industry leadership, the NAB Show is the world’s largest media and entertainment event covering the development, management, and delivery of content across all mediums.

Wowza experienced tremendous growth in the last year, having just expanded their marketing team from 1 to 5 people. At past NAB shows, the company’s previous 10×20 modular exhibit was over-crowded with current customers and attendees with technical questions.

The primary goal for NAB 2013 was to attract more quality prospects to the booth and generate interest in the Wowza brand. As the name implies, Wowza is a fun, techy company. The new trade show presence needed to create and convey a unique brand persona.

To achieve this goal, Condit’s design team utilized custom lighting features (including lightboxes and suspended fixtures) to emphasize and highlight the key messages and feel of Wowza’s brand. The carpet tile inlay created additional visual interest and tied the booth together.

Condit’s solution successfully solved the trade show challenges that Wowza was facing. Lynn Green, Marketing Manager at Wowza said, “The booth was crowded, and very visible!”

By utilizing an open floor plan and custom exhibit design, Condit and Wowza were able to create a space that was not only more effective than the previous booth in driving interest and traffic, but left a lasting impression on attendees who stopped by.

The post Wowza Media Systems Debuts New Trade Show Booth at NAB 2013 appeared first on Condit.

Multiple challenges had to be addressed including installing a semi-permanent structure on top of a permanent building, craning all properties to the roof where the structure was installed, and finally accommodating the high-end finishes the client expected. After months of extensive planning, the structure is now complete and in use.

The project began eleven months ago when MTRA Arquitectos, the architecture firm of record for this project, contacted Condit about the feasibility of designing and installing a structure on the terrace of the CAF Building in Caracas, Venezuela.

Condit’s turnkey solution, working in partnership with MTRA Arquitectos, included all logistical planning, design, engineering, and custom fabrication of the interior elements. The interior consisted of custom wood paneling, multiple translation booths on a tiered deck, drop ceilings, recessed lighting, a built-in sound system, and custom flooring.

HIMSS is one of the largest annual conferences in the healthcare industry. HIMSS represents more than 50,000 individual members, of which more than two-thirds work in healthcare provider, governmental and not-for-profit organizations. HIMSS also has more than 570 corporate members, and 120 not-for-profit associations as members. This year, the keynote speaker was former President, Bill Clinton.

The custom trade show booths varied from Truven Health Analytic’s 30’x40 booth to 10’x20’ booths for Biamp Systems, Level3, and Connexall. These booths all had unique elements that created a professional presence while allowing for conference attendees to interact and learn about each company.

A recent report from ReturnPath brought up some interesting points which I have shared in this post. I have daily conversations with companies about how they should consider mobile devices when communicating with their customers and prospects. The following includes a few predictions and recommendations.

Mobile platforms are gaining ground when it comes to email viewership.

Webmail is still the most popular platform for reading email, but mobile is showing huge growth rates whereas webmail and desktop decreased by 11% and nearly 9.5%, respectively.

Where email is viewed is heavily influenced by when it is viewed, with desktop ruling the weekdays and mobile spiking on the weekends.

iPad Use:
The use of the iPad for viewing email has exploded with a 73% increase in email opens.
If you are viewing email with installed software on a desktop, you are viewing it in Outlook or Apple Mail. All other platforms combined make up a tiny share of the total desktop views.

Prediction: More, more, more. We think this number will just keep going up as tablet computers such as the iPad continue to proliferate. The email interface is pretty slick and definitely increases the consumption of email on the go.

Recommendation: When you consider your mobile design strategy, don’t forget about tablets. While they offer a lot more options than the small screen of a smartphone, they are still different enough from a desktop or webmail environment to require some thought. Testing your designs on all the platforms that matter to your audience is key to success.

Email is read everywhere and mobile is growing:
Where is Email Most Often Read? It might be a little hard to believe given all the ink that gets spilled covering the mobile revolution, but webmail continues to be the dominant platform for email use, followed by desktop and mobile devices.
While mobile still represents the smallest piece of the email open pie, it is showing a pattern of increasing usage that is impossible to ignore. In fact, Return Path data shows that email opens on mobile devices is up by 34% and growing.

Prediction: Email is an important business tool, so some combination of desktop and webmail use is likely to remain dominant well into 2013. But the number of people who opt for smartphones increases each quarter, meaning email viewership on these devices will continue to grow. Add in the iPad and we predict that mobile viewership number will tick up by a measurable amount by the end of 2013.

Recommendation: Benchmarks are great for understanding the shifts in the market, but your company’s marketing strategy should be dictated by specific data on your subscribers. Figure out where they are viewing email so you can send them relevant messages. Relevance is about more than just content.

Take time to understand how your customers and prospects are viewing your content and make adjustments as necessary. Most email programs will do this for you automatically and will allow your messaging to be read and acted on.

Based in Denmark, Andritz Feed & Biofuel is one of the world’s leading suppliers of technologies, systems and services for the feed and biofuel industries.

The challenge was to design a custom exhibit that represented Andritz as a global leader in their industry, while also providing a comfortable and inviting environment for their visitors. The 20′ x 20′ hanging sign boldly advertised their logo and brand in four directions and was visible from anywhere in the hall. The hospitality bar, private conference room and the open café-style seating provided lots of meeting space, and gave the visitors a comfortable place to discuss business with Andritz.

To help educate their visitors about the technology behind their machinery, Condit provided two custom-built stanchions that housed iPads and the surface of the stanchion displayed a CAD drawing of the machine itself.

Andritz had a very successful show, and they were extremely pleased with the quality of the exhibit that we designed and built for them.

We enjoyed this international collaboration and were happy to create this memorable and effective exhibit.

This was the CFCC’s first time with a booth at the Maternal Fetal Medicine Show, and they wanted a professional booth to make a statement and create a memorable experience.

The CFCC’s custom exhibit features fabric graphics with a 42″ monitor display and two counter areas. These features provided conversation starting information about the CFCC and created a space to network with possible new clients.
