Q: Do you offer turn-key services?

A: Every client has different needs. Condit can provide design, CAD, engineering, fabrication, graphics, event management, and logistics coordination. Opt for the entire package or just choose the support you require. We tailor our services to your needs.

Q: Does the structure come in more than one size?

A: Yes.  We offer a 16’ and 20’ square grid

Q:  What do you mean by a 16’ or 20’ square grid?

A:  The system works in sections.  For instance, a  20’ square grid (the ideal size for most projects) breaks down into 10’x10’  squares.  Because the system can break down into these smaller sections it allows us to create custom corners and angles no other rental system can offer.

Q: How long does it take to set up a typical size structure?  Let’s say roughly a 40’x40’.

A: The ground surface has a lot to do with the amount of time it takes to set up a structure.  A typical 40’x40’ installed on asphalt takes roughly 5-6 days. Shorter install times can be easily accommodated if you have a tight schedule.

Q: Are there different roof options?

A: Yes, we have three to choose from. Domes, our Smart Roof Clear span system, and the latest technology available in rental structures, our water proof flat roof system.

Q: What color walls are available?

A:  Anything you want! Gray is standard but we have the ability to customize the wall panels to any color.

Q: Do the glass walls come tinted?

A: They do not.  The tint is a film we add upon request.  Clear glass is the standard. If you have an event in a place where the sun is extremely bright, let’s say Las Vegas, we strongly recommend one of our tints as this helps with keeping the structure cool and the glare off of your guests.

Q: Can you create a circular structure?

A: We can, but to be clear it’s facetted in shape so not a smooth circle.  This is where the flexibility of the system shows off its unique capabilities.

Q: How many stories can I have?

A:  In theory as many as you want.  To date we have never been asked to go higher than 4 stories.

Q: Are you developing new technologies?

A: Condit’s design and engineering team are constantly developing new ideas to enhance the systems capabilities.  Our recently developed flat roof system is  first on the market as it allows for viewing balconies on the roof, essentially creating an additional floor with incredible views.

Q: Can the structure be set up on uneven ground?

A: Absolutely. The floor has self leveling legs and in situations where the slope is extreme, we use a heavy duty scaffolding to create a sub structure that the building floor can then sit on.

Q: What do engineers say about the system, its capabilities and features?

A: Each time we submit drawings to a new engineer for approval they are amazed by the versatility and uniqueness of the system.  In more than a decade not a single design has ever been rejected by an engineer.

Q: Do you store the equipment in the US?

A: We do.  Our Denver operations support all of Canada, North and South America.  Our operations in the UK support all of Europe and the Middle East.  When requested we ship overseas to Asia.  You would be surprised at how little it costs to ship by ocean to and from Asia.

Q: Can you create open interiors?

A: One of the most defining features of the Space Building System is the ability to have completely open interiors.  Two, three, or four stories, 40’x40’ up to 100’x100’ and larger, can be entirely open on the interior.  No other system has this capability and separates the Space Building System from all other temporary structures.

Q: Do you offer interior walls?

A: We offer standard interior rental walls that directly connect into the system to create multiple size rooms but we also offer custom walls panels for those clients looking to create a high end interior.

Q:  What types of flooring are available?

A: Anything is possible. Carpet, linoleum, Pergo flooring, and astro turf are some frequently used floor finishes. We have done it all including raised subfloors with plasma screens dropped into the floor itself.

Q: Can graphics be added on the walls?

A: We frequently add graphics to the interior and exterior walls.  We use a unique framing system that captures vinyl and fabric materials to accommodate small and large scale graphics capable of covering any size wall in your structure.

Q: What is the cost per square foot?

A: Due to the unique features and capabilities of the Space Building System we don’t charge by the square foot.  Every structure on the market, with the exception of the Space Building System, must work with fixed lengths and widths.  Because our system has no limits in size and we offer multiple wall and roof systems, we price each structure according to the final design.

Q: What special features can you add?

A: Anything you find in a corporate office or home can be done:

• Full kitchens with stove, sink and refrigerator
• Running water,  as long as there is a water source
• Electrical outlets in any room
• Drop ceilings
• Lighting, track and recessed lighting in the drop ceiling
• HVAC and ducting
• Sprinkler systems
• Alarm systems
• Custom lobbies
• VIP lounges
• Retail stores
• Cafes
• Elevators
• Escalators
• Plasma screens
• 3D theaters
• Water fall displays
• Custom staircases

Restrooms can be added but we try to avoid adding these due to health regulations.

Q: Can I rent, lease or purchase a structure?

A: All three are options.  We can tailor the terms in a variety of ways depending on the needs of your project. Currently we offer short term rentals and lease options up to 5 years.
